One of the rarest varieties of honey in the world, Zea Gourmet Kunzea Honey is organically harvested from happy bees foraging in the remote and pristine wilderness of North-East Tasmania and Flinders Island.

This native honey has been produced from the nectar of the Kunzea ambigua flower.

This remarkable miracle of nature is only ethically harvested once a year in Spring from bees that pollinate the native Kunzea ambigua flower during a short seasonal window.

For every five drums of other common native honeys, you can only get one drum of Kunzea - making it very rare. Once we run out, that's it until next season!

Boasting a smooth, buttery consistency and delightfully sweet taste, this refined, singular harvest has been left unaltered going straight from the hive to your home.

Drizzle it over crumpets, spread it on toast, stir it into porridge or eat it straight off the spoon.

100% raw, cold-extracted and unprocessed, the highly nutritious and natural medicinal properties of this beautiful golden nectar have been preserved for your enjoyment.

It is truly one of nature's special gifts - and it's so delicious! If you want a signature taste of Australia, this is it.

Here are some suggestions on how you can enjoy Kunzea Honey:

  • Add it to your tea or coffee as a healthier sweetener
  • Spread it on your toast, muffins or crumpets
  • Pair with a mild goat's cheese or soft brie
  • Drizzle it into your porridge or cereal
  • Use as an addition to antipasto platters
  • Take it directly for general health and wellbeing

Externally:

  • Apply topically to burns, wounds and skin conditions
  • DIY face mask for supporting tissue rebuilding and repair

If honey crystalises or becomes too thick, liquify by placing the jar in warm water for 15 minutes. This is a natural process and attributes to pure, raw unprocessed honey.

WARNINGS: Do not heat honey above 40°C. Not for infants under 1 year of age. We do not recommend it if you are allergic to bee stings, honey or bee-related products.

STORAGE: Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.

Zea is a proudly family-owned Australian health and wellness company. With humble beginnings in Tasmania over 10 years ago, and founded on the love for the Kunzea plant and its healing benefits, Zea is inspired by the healing wonders of nature and helping others live a healthier and more sustainable life.

Whilst travelling throughout Tasmania and Australia, attending markets and expos, Zea’s founder Hayden Brass, and his parents Michelle and Simon learnt about a mysterious Australian plant called Kunzea (kun-zee-ya) ambigua. Intrigued by this beautiful plant, they began researching the therapeutic benefits of this native botanical and became truly inspired by its impressive properties. And so Zea was born…

Today, the Zea brand includes a range of very much loved and highly effective, natural and ethical Kunzea Products. From their Zea Pain Relief, which includes a natural personal care range that contains the therapeutic benefits of pure Kunzea Oil, to Kunzea Oils and Kunzea Bath Salts, Zea is helping Australians far and wide find pain relief naturally, effectively and quickly, without the nasty ingredients and side effects found in other products.

Zea has since extended its range to include three new sub-brands. The first is Zea Essentials, which is a range of 100% pure essential oils and aromatherapy products. The second is Zea Gourmet, which consists of delicious Australian Native Honeys, Bush Foods and Condiments. And most recently is Zea Active, which is for pre & post-workout muscle and body recovery.
